Agreement for Use of Sailboats


The Clear Lake Yacht Club Sailing School INC owns approximately 12 Sunfish Sailboats. Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, members of the Clear Lake Yacht Club and Sailing School (Camp) participants may use these boats on a daily only basis, under the following conditions:

  1. Must wear a life jacket.

  2. Make sure boat is properly rigged 

  3. Report any issues with the boats se we can get them repaired (include email address)

  4. Only use the boats in winds 12mph or less

  5. Shall repair or replace any damaged parts or boat which is beyond normal wear and tear (as a damaged parts or boat which is beyond normal wear and tear (as determined by CLYC)

  6. On behalf of myself and any family members and users of the sailboat, I agree and indemnify and hold harmless the Clear Lake Yacht Club INC, its officers, directors, employees, and members for any injury or damage that may occur during the use of sailboats.
